Life Care offering health screening for the benefit of the community.
LIFE Care Diagnostic Medical Centre, a private medical care operator in Malaysia, took an active role in helping the less fortunate through a health carnival at Wisma Life Care, Bangsar South recently.
During the carnival, the public could get a health screening for a minimum donation of RM 1. The tests included blood sugar and cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index, body composition analysis and ankle densitometry.
Proceeds from the event were channelled to the Kassim Chin Humanity Foundation that dedicates its resources to setting up institutions and facilities to provide education opportunities, healthcare and social services to the poor and needy.
The carnival will be a half-yearly event. The two-day carnival was open to the public from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
There were lucky draws and door gifts for participants as well.
